Frequently asked questions

Your question is not here? Send us a message on WhatsApp.

Which languages do you offer?

Arabic and Kurdish (Sorani), each to and from German. Sorani is our language mediator's native language; she speaks Arabic fluently.

How do I book an appointment?

The easiest way is WhatsApp: send us the date, time, place, language and type of appointment. We will reply quickly with availability and price.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the length, place and time of the appointment. You get it in advance via WhatsApp – the appointment is only confirmed once you agree.

Where do you work?

In Cologne and the surrounding area. For appointments outside Cologne, just ask us.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What we hear at an appointment stays between us and is not passed on to anyone.

Do you give legal or medical advice?

No. We interpret what is said so that you understand everything and can decide for yourself. Advice comes from your lawyer, doctor or the authority.

Do you come to court hearings?

For the hearing itself, the court usually appoints its own sworn interpreters. We are happy to accompany you to preparatory meetings, for example with your lawyer.

Do you also translate documents?

We do not offer certified translations. For other letters, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what we can do.

What should I not send via WhatsApp?

Please do not send health information, ID documents or confidential papers at first. Date, place, language and type of appointment are enough for your request.
